At MARDE, we maintain a strict standard of quality and exclusivity. To protect the integrity of our collections and our "Honest Pricing" model, we operate under a rigorous Return and Exchange policy. By purchasing from MARDE, you agree to the following terms:


1. The "No-Preference" Rule

  • Strict Policy: We do not offer returns or exchanges for "change of mind," "personal preference," or "sizing issues."

  • Final Sale: Detailed size charts are provided for every product. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the correct fit before purchase.

  • Subjective Claims: Requests based on "not being in the mood" for the item or a general "change of heart" will be strictly rejected. Once an order is fulfilled, it is considered a final sale unless the item is damaged or incorrect.


2. Fabric Care & Washing Disclaimer

  • Hand Wash Only: Our t-shirts and garments are crafted with premium materials that require delicate handling. All items are strictly "Hand Wash Only."

  • Damage Liability: MARDE is not responsible for any damage, shrinkage, color bleeding, or print deterioration caused by machine washing, tumble drying, or improper care.

  • Warranty Void: Any claim for a return or exchange will be automatically voided if the garment shows signs of being machine-washed or improperly handled.


3. Eligibility for Exchange (Damaged/Incorrect Only)

Exchanges are only entertained if the item received is physically damaged or a different product than what was ordered.

  • Condition: Items must be in original condition: unworn, unused, unwashed (no signs of hand or machine washing), with all original tags and packaging intact.

  • Timeline: Exchange requests must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.

  • Approval: Items sent back without prior written approval from our team will be rejected.


4. Reverse Logistics & Pick-up Process

For approved exchanges or returns, we utilize Shiprocket to facilitate the return process:

  • Scheduled Pick-up: Once your request is approved, we will initiate a return pick-up from your registered address.

  • Return Transit Time: Please note that reverse shipping (from your doorstep to our warehouse) typically takes 15 business days.

  • Inspection & Resolution: Once the parcel reaches our warehouse, we require up to 7 business days to inspect the item and initiate your refund or process your exchange.

  • Exchange Delivery: If you are exchanging a product, please allow an additional 5–6 business days for the new item to reach you after the return has been processed.


5. Damaged or Incorrect Items (The 24-Hour Rule)

  • Inspection: You must inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

  • Reporting: Any claims for defective, damaged, or incorrect items must be emailed to hello@marde.in within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Zero Tolerance: Claims made after the 24-hour window will be strictly rejected.

  • Color & Technical Variations: Minor variations in color, texture, or appearance are expected due to professional studio lighting, camera settings, or differences in individual screen calibrations. These are not considered defects.


6. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable:

  • All Sale/Discounted items.

  • Pre-order items.

  • Personalised or custom-made pieces.

  • Gift Cards.


7. Refund Processing

Refunds are only issued if a replacement for a validly claimed damaged item is unavailable.

  • Method: Refunds are processed back to the original payment method.

  • Timeline: Expect the refund to reflect in your account within 7 business days after the returned item has reached our warehouse and passed inspection.


8. Final Authority

MARDE reserves the sole and absolute right to decline any return or exchange request if the item does not meet our brand standards. Our decision on the condition of returned goods and refund eligibility is final and binding.
